English version of my Catarse crowdfunding campaign

This is a campaign to raise funds for my book Sobre-posições (something like “Superpositions” in Portuguese). The book is a collection of essays about our ways of seeing. It is written in Portuguese, but it also contains a vast selection of my paintings, and thus can be appreciated even if you don’t speak Portuguese. In the inside of the book, the images are printed in black and white, to go along with the type, but it is accompanied by a set of 8 watercolour prints and 2 posters (used as dust jackets), all in color. In the video below, you can see a prototype of the book kit with all its components.

The campaign is on a brazilian crowdfunding platform called Catarse. Its currency is “reais” (brazilian money), but you can make a pledge from anywhere in the world using any international credit card — it will automatically convert the amount you pledge to the currency you normally use. Any contribution to the campaign will be greatly appreciated — help us bring this project to life!

To keep things simple, we pre-selected the following pledge:

R$ 230,00 (approx. U$ 58,00) pledge.
Reward: Book kit (containing: printed book, set of 8 watercolour prints, 2 posters/jackets); international shipping included
(estimated delivery: jan. 2020, though we will try to make it reach you before Christmas).

If you want to back the campaign without selecting any printed reward, click here and you will be taken to a page very similar to the one above. Select the amount you want to donate (remember that U$ 1,00 = R$ 4,00, so, for instance, if you want to donate U$ 20,00, you must select R$ 80,00) and click the green button “Continuar”. Then fill in your e-mail and desired password, click the “Continuar” button again and you will finally be able to select your Country, so the platform will automatically switch to a new language.
